  • I do have a question - the USDA recommends boiling any home canned foods for 20minutes before eating - how does microwaving effect this? I haven't been able to find any info on it, thought maybe you'd have an idea

  • @gingergargoyle Honestly I don't know, I eat things right out of the jar all the time. My thoughts on this are they tend to be overly cautious. I trust what I do more than how they handle my food, but that's just me. Thanks for stopping buy.

  • I enjoy your videos and hope you make more food storage videos. You always seem so cheery and inspire me to do more.

  • @Maechosen1 I will be on it pretty hard as I can see a demand.

  • watching you slice lemons and hearing Steven Tyler dice the the anthem, in the back ground, makes me glad I don't watch TV........

  • @mudhole9 Sorry about that I don't watch TV either but my Hubby does. I hope you come back and sit for a while, promise no TV :)

  • Yes, Yes to the food storage meals ideas. I had great success with the chili beans and I'm going to make the white bean and ham soup. It would be nice to have more recipes to can. Thanks.

  • I would love to see more food storage videos...that's my biggest interest right now.:)

  • Oh my gosh my stomach is growling, this looks so good!

  • That chicken looks great

  • @255sage Firstly thanks for the reply. So if I roasted the peppers and peeled them, rather than dehydrating them, if I put them in a jar (filled with olive oil) could I either pressure can them or water bath can them do you know? It is about $1.5 dollars to the £ so it would work out approx. $7.00 and the jar is about 250ml. I cannot bring myself to pay so much.

  • Looks good.
