I transformed an old International Harvester horizontal wood shredder with an old Briggs 3.5 horse engine into a horizontally mounted shredder that is belt driven off my Simplicity tractor. The machine works great for leaves, garden waste and light brush.

  • i am gardener and i have to said that this looks incredible dangerous

  • Think if I built this, I'd make the feed hopper longer than my arm. That way I wouldn't be tempted to push short bits in and lose my digits. Do yourself a favour if you want to continue wiping your own back-side, fit one!

  • You murdered a maple!!!

  • god forbid you cut it up and put it in the trash.

  • Dear Sir, it is really very impressive, congratulations. Unfortunately, in your video we can’t see your shredder knife still, (unmoved). Can you arrange this please? So if it is ease, I can create the same shredder? Also what kind of knifes have you found best for wood and leaf chippers? Thanks a lot for your help and your time, I hope you understand my English.

  • thats pish........lol

  • I see 2 big flaws in ur chipper.

  • @Igotknobblies
