Finally, some intelligent persons are regaining control of their building costs in N. America. No one 'owns' mud, clay, straw, sand, & wood itself... nor the 'idea' of a house... nor the 'idea' of Cob. Nature puts no price-tag on building materials other than the labor required to assemble them. Let's all take a moment, to appreciate what's been done so far, & the Creativity of those who are 'doing it'.

  • Chuckle.... glad you enjoyed it, but all thanks must go to those who are "doing-it" & making the photos available to the public. Here's something you might find even "more" interesting & less labor-intensive: try investigating Earthbag Building; lots of videos & sites already available to look into. Two others would be Parabolic Stressed Skin Building, & PaperCrete/Fibrecrete.

  • @arivera1971 no more than any other house,it depends on the design of the house as to where the water comes from.

  • relaxing. meditative. great.

  • Amen to that, brother. Btw gr8 video production values. Rock on.

  • what would be the cost of this kind of house? is there any problems like with animals making holes in the wall or foundation?/ like mole, rats, or such animals.? How you deal with the water do you get a water line put in or well..?? very interesting.

  • wow fantastic. that is so creative and a great ideal.
