  • i see that you still have the 4 lugs wheels, that means you just swapped the I6 to a v8(exactly what im doing right now. are you running a c4 tranny? did you have a 3 spd on the floor? did the tranny fit right in? thanks, any help would be greatful.

  • @n8dawg1290 yep! actually it came with a (not working) v8 when we bought it. it has a c4 in it, and I believe it was always an automatic car (the c4 it has now is somewhere between a 1965 and a 1969, with a large bellhousing). One trick we found is that it uses motor mounts for a v8 convertible, even though it is a coupe. the mounts appear to be taller/higher than the coupe mounts. Anyways, the c4 fits well, but I'm not exactly what all was changed to make it a good fit. good luck!

  • nice respect for neighbors...car sounded great....will have to post my start ups ...speed and custom of ne...

  • @60sallen thanks!

  • dude please tell me where you bought the wheeles have been looking for them for about a year

  • @chillinkillin0 oh wait! sorry, i guess i'm too tired to be replying... I now have American Racing Wheels on the car. I don't know where to get the wheels that were on there when I took that video. maybe a swap meet? The particular ones I have came with the car when I bought it and are pretty gouged and banged up. Also, they are a little wider than stock I believe (but seemed to work just fine). sorry to confuse!
