Wow. Just incredible. How on earth Marr came up with that song is beyond me! If I could give you 6 STARS I would... but 5 will just have to do.

Great piece of work! I love this song! Never heard THIS part alone! Johnny Marr was a genius at that times...

Damn about time somebody had the rhythm right...but he really plays with the capo at 7! Good job man..thanks for this!

Hey - I'm trying to learn your very very awesome version here, but I'm stuck at the third chord - you've put it down as an Em7, I can see you've got a bar chord on the 7th (9th) fret, but then I'm lost and it won't sound right. 'elp, 'elp please :)

Nice guitar!
Thanks for checking it out! About the capo, check the video of the spanish concerts. He had two guitars, one tuned up 1.5 steps-no capos to be seen on "William" or anything else (though he did have someone tune one guitar to an open chord for "Headmaster Ritual". I think he wrote most of his songs open then tuned up to accommodate the vocal.

Hey, that's really excellent!! What Yamaha guitar is that, btw?

Thanks for watching. The guitar was a gift from my father-it's a 30 year old Taiwanese Yamaha FG-340.
Thanks again, Dad!

Wanted to add: The chords above are 1 whole step lower than the recording-it was likely composed this way. Use a capo to play in tune with the record (In other words the capo makes the first chord, Fadd9 become a Gadd9, etc.).
