@poundsand - As is often the case with a successful group, the lead singer Russell Thompkins wanted a solo career. Unfortunately , it didn't work out. - His falsetto is flawless.

ohhh wow ya'ahhll...this version is the BEST!...why?...simple,..I wanted to dedicate this song to a friend right, so I checked all the versions posted...this one immedietly made my heart scream with happiness and lonesomeness for the old days!..I have so much and love respect for all of us who are STILL around to talk about it!...we'ez gettin' old ya'all lol...Thank you so much for posting this version! Russell still sounds great as ever, but it ain't the Stylistics without Airrion Love. Hopefully someday they will once again appear on the same stage together.
