very scary. Police the world further and force them to be as civil as we are. Interfering will only bring greater violence. All societies must learn their lessons at their own pace. What would we do if some very civil "aliens" landed here tomorrow to tell us about the barbaric ways in which we manage our resources. It'd be them or us... which is exactly what this man is purposing... further escalation.

Islam divides the world into muslim (dar-ul-islam, House of Peace) and non-muslim (dar-ul-harb, House of War) and demands that muslims wage war against non-muslims until they have been converted, subjugated or killed.

Islam is a fascist totalitarian ideology like Nazism but it is also a barbaric medieval death cult. Don't assume for a second there is some "enlightened Islam" that is being suppressed by the "radical' or 'authoritative' muslims. Both the moderates and radicals have the same goal.

Mr Gaffney, I think you need to pick up a Quran or do some more research. You're very eloquent and well spoken however you've made a misreading of Islam, (perhaps through wanting to be politically correct).

What you should know is that Sharia is an integral part of Islam-that is the ideology we're at war with. There is no such thing as a 'moderate Islam, just as there is no 'moderate Nazism' or 'moderate rapist'. There are a minority of peaceful muslims but most support jihad, Islamic conquest.
