1930's Wurlitzer Model 105 Military Band Organ. Restored and entertaining again. Plays from the original Paper Rolls or digitally through a (wireless) Midi interface.
Music is "Beer Barrel Polka", arranged for the 105 by Wayne Holton.

  • I love the sound of the Band Organs. Thanks to the Arrangers who make the effort to arrange for Organs that are not totally chromatic.

  • I've had a difficult time keeping those two ranks in tune. For some reason, they're more difficult than the trumpets. I have all the tools for tuning them and I'm going to have another go at them this weekend.

  • well, the high piccolos and flageolets are somewhat out of tune, but a nice-sounding organ overall, and a good arrangement!
