@rexman92 Yes the others of them are in horrible+ shape.. The 4012 (?) is in the worst shape i think, most of them have been outside sense they have been put on display. Very expensive to move and protect from the elements but it is VERY possible.

i can see that aslo it be expesive but im a kind of persioll willing to protec as much as possable

@rexman92 Actually there are about 2 or 3 of 8 that are inside and well preserved. The best one i think being the 4014. The reason as to why they dont run is do to size, and the UP not wanting a coal burning engine running. Not to mention the few 7 million spent with a possible time of restoration being 7-20 years.

@fourstar7 122ft long 18 ft high, over 1 million pounds top speed 80mph, and over 6,000 horse power with a hancock 300 chime i think.

@VPT2 They both turn - both getting steam power from the smokebox drive pipes. The engine JUST got out the shops for some problems though. This trip in this video was a "Test" run more or less.

@fourstar7 the big boy is bigger and stronger unfortunetly there not in servis or protected from the elements for preservation along with no hope of getting em back in working order
