There was NEVER a relationship with Buffy and Spike. It was just a sexual relationship. She was embarssed that she had even slept with him. Angel and Buffy were in a relationship. A vampire & slayer in love. Angel & Buffy. Sarah Michelle Prinze even said that there was more of a connection between Buffy and Angel. Buffy NEVER loved Spike! Even Angel turned evil she still was in love with him. It took her one year to get the strength to kill the man she loved.
