GREASE at the Royale Theatre... this was a commercial from the original production but not the original cast members, The people in this commercial came off the national tour in the mid 70's: Zuko is Lloyd Alan, Sandy is Candy Early, Sonny is Matt Landers, Frenchy is Ellen March, Eugene is Jimmy Skaggs, Kenickie is the original, the late Timmy Myers, Roger is Ray Demattis, Doody is Barry Tarallo, Rizzo is Karen Dilly, Marty is Marilu Henner (she was in the ORIGINAL ORIGINAL Grease production at the Kingston Mines in Chicago...way before it ever made it to off, and then ON Broadway), Cha Cha is Kathy Moss, Miss Lynch is Dorothy Leon, Patty Simcox is Carol Culver.

I saw the revival in the 90s. It was fun but I felt it was too much like the movie. But, the current revival seems even worse... replacing many of the original songs with the movie's songs!!!!

I think so also. It was raunchier and was more of a group piece that the sanitized film! Although I do love the film too...
