Yeah it was a penalty but not worth suspension. If dany heatley elbowed a more honest player there probably wouldn't even be a suspension. Steve Ott goes to the bench with the trainer and then says "Oh theres a power play, I'm better now doc!"

@JD2005 Both these guys are large, Heatley is just barely bigger. I am an underweight female that was elbowed by an average sized male, so the person was bigger. I never once said it didn't hurt, but I didn't act like I was dying. So your guess at being 'hit by a little girl' was false. Sooo... Ott helped it along, and Heatley deserves an award for doing what 90% of hockey fans have wanted to do since Ott threw his first cheapshot. If only he did it harder. Oh well.

@sca1429 And I would probably take your word more seriously if you weren't such a douche, but I digress... so with respect to being elbowed in the face, the ratio of time on ground is directly proportional to the mass and velocity of the elbow that hits you. For example, you being hit in the face by a little girl puts you on the ground for X time, while being hit by a huge hockey player takes you out for Y...until you've experienced Y, you can't compare it to X even though your a big pussy
