I stopped eating animals in February 2004, about 6 years ago. At first it started out as a health experiment to see how much better I could physically feel. Years later, I got deeper into seeing how animals suffered needlessly to satisfy man's appetite for meat. But for the past year, something different began to take shape within my spirit. I can now see and feel that not eating meat is purely a spiritual matter for me. More than the physical and mental benefits, as well as even the fact that I don't support the killing of animals, not eating meat is something that my Nature is telling ME not to do. It's so hard to put the reason in words, but it's just a feeling within me. My spirit THRIVES without eating meat and it will continue to do so.

  • @TheMisstmarie for sure!! :)

  • The more and more I think about it, the more I want to stop eating meat. But if it is given to me I feel I shouldn't waste it. I have been raised a meat eater, so It would be difficult to not eat it because everyone that I know eats it every day. Sigh* Thank you for this video!

  • @ThisStrangeGirl Right on. Well if it comes, then eat it and enjoy... And when it's not there, don't consume it. That doesn't sound bad to me. Just listen to yourself and you'll know what to do :)

  • Hi there,I don't intend to be "militant" - but at the core of meating eating is a victim. There's no problem with anyone eating whatever they wish- BUT if it requires killing - that's where one has to be an advocate for the innocent. A bad thing "universally" understood is taking life when there is no necessity to do. We wouldn't say a pedophile or a rapist should be free to live their "nature" - Would we? No. We'd say there are rules of fairness and justice. Killing without cause is not kind.

  • this video is a great commercial for not eating meat!! see people, when you dont eat animals for 6 years you'll become articulate, compassionate, calm, and accepting of all, just like this guy. Your right, dont be aggresive about your beliefs just be a living example urself, just like this fine gentleman. nice vid

  • no, Thank YOU :) and many blessings to you.

  • @Mindpetals You're right...I've run into that myself with vegans who hammer away even at other vegans for not being as "devout," etc., but in the scheme of things that's a minor complaint, although annoying. Such people can be ignored or shunned, but I'd rather have people going overboard in that direction than the other extreme, any day. Thanks for your thoughtful videos :-)
