I agree some pieces require passion, romance and strength, but Bach is different - he is not wishy washy romantic nor did he write with a view to hammer your violin to its limit. Every note had purpose - it's a baroque work full of counterpoint. If you want passion, romance and strength you want paganini!

Thank you for your kind comment. I didn't have much time for this piece so I didn't think about the interpretation as much as I should but it's true - I was listening to his performance. I love listening to Great Violinists.
