I think you guys need to remember that the first few weeks/months after release is when Bungie is still getting together all the playlists and gametypes ready. There are a lot of gametypes that are combined under one playlist that were their own playlists in Halo 3, and because their all crammed together it probably gives the illusion that the multiplayer isn't as fulfilling.
And whoever it was that said there needed to be weapon customization needs to remember what that shit did to CoD.

@SkyJW15 That's why we said "As of now" for matchmaking. Also, he meant bloom reset time and individual damage, which CoD does not have.

@BoredMunkey When you start to allow a player to make his weapon better than someone elses, you start to have balance issues. And CoD has Stopping Power which increases damage, and Steady Aim could count as a bloom reset time mechanic, so in a way CoD does have those things. But allowing a player to make his DMR have half the bloom or make it 4 shot instead of 5 shot would create a lot of balance issues, and Bungie prides themselves on maintaing a good level of balance in their games.

@SkyJW15 If someone were to make the DMR stronger within the gametype, it would be towards everyone. Everyone would equally have the same power in the DMR. Like SWAT, it's one shot to the head for everyone, not just one person.
And bloom reset time is totally different from Steady Aim. Steady Aim makes the reticle smaller, not go down faster. That would be like saying bananas and apples are the same.
