Hedges is the ONLY guy who's speaking total truth to power right now. He makes the late Hitchens seem tame.

They rotate people through leadership positions (in his words) until one of the 1st among equals becomes the de facto leader, as happens in every movement.
Listening to his words one month later, as the movement falls apart, he doesn't appear as prescient.
