Sakura AE Combo Video - SSF4AE

My first actual combo video. The focus of this combo video was not to try and get the most hits in and use all my meter in such a way to accomplish that; the main focus was to create combos that I thought looked cool or were stylish.

Most of these combos are AE specific combos, though some of them could be done in Super (and even Vanilla in some cases). Many combos could have been extended with the use of meter (specifically any combo that ends in super), but I chose not to do so because the rest of the combos that would follow after such uses of meter have been seen and done.

Many of these combos are character specific, specifically any combo that links c.HK (Sweep) from a LK tatsu. This information is well known by Sakura players, but I imagine is new to a lot of people who don't main her specifically.

As stated already, this is my first combo video which means that any editing done (or lack thereof if you want to be correct) is a result of that. I am not a video guru, I just strung together these combos and put them to semi-appropriate (Not really) music.

I hope you enjoy this combo video despite it's incredibly abrupt ending.

I thought you could only cr. m.k after a lk tatsu during Counter HIt?!!

@trunksbrief1 The LK tatsu in these cases hits extremely late, giving the frame advantage to hit cr.MK and cr.HK.

This was, hands down, THE most insightful combo video I've ever seen. I saw some counter-hit setups I'd never seen. I am SO glad I found this.

Sad thing is, I've played Saks since Vanilla and didn't know about the lk tatsu > sweep. I always just did it off of jab. :S

If you have AE on Xbox or PS3, I'd love to get some mirrors, if you're of a mind.

@SFCatgirlFanatic LK Tatsu to sweep is character specific. If you notice the LK tatsu hits extremely late, giving you the frame advantaged required for such a link. Just making sure you knew that before you tried it in a real match.

@RetroHunter06 I have never played on pad when the choice for stick was available. I only played pad online for Xbox briefly when I didn't have a stick. I'm a 100% stick player, especially considering that the only way to play Sakura is to plink the shit out of everything.
