yes, this is perfect for beginners but has some power though and nice handling, not too heavy. i had it in driving school

Well it really all depends on a few things. First off, what is your riding experience. I have spent alot of my younger years on four wheelers and dirtbikes. I once had a honda 250 daul sport that I found for me to lack seriously on power. If you have no riding experience, or very little, I would not go bigger then 500cc, and keep it a standard bike, not a sport bike, unless you are very responsible. Also what is your weight? The lighter you are the less power you need.
