  • Bermuda gets tropical storm force winds from a tropical storm or hurricane every 2-3 years, hurricane force winds from a hurricane every 5-6 years and, winds over 111mph from a hurricane every 25-30 years.

  • we got it last night. it was such a weak storm. i wouldn't have even classified it as a tropical depression. in certain places(coastal) they got some flooding, but since i don't live too close to the water it didn't effect me too much. i think newfoundland got it the worst.

  • The last direct hit from a hurricane was 2003. But the island has been 'brushed' by a passing hurricane about once every two years recently.
