  • I dont think people mean anything by it, its just that most of the people ive seen in media and on film etc that are Jamaican, happen to be black.

  • Ethnic groups in Jamaica: 76.3% African descent, 15.1% Afro-European, 3.4% East Indian and Afro-East Indian, 3.2% Caucasian, 1.2% Chinese and Afro-Chinese and 0.8% Other.

  • I'm black Jamaican as well, I live in the UK and I have been told by Non Jamaicans and Jamaicans that I do not look like a Jamaican. My immediate response to them is 'what do you expect a Jamaican to look like and do you enjoy being ignorant'.

  • Here's one more thing all Jamaicans have in common: Having strong opinions. I don't think I've ever met a Jamaican that would sit quietly by the side during a debate and say nothing.

  • you make valid point . i am a white american i had dreads listen to bands like sugar minot, sizzla, yami bolo, israel vibration, buju, so of course i have to be jamaican lol. people found it really hard to understand that you don't have to be jamaican to listen to dancehall and roots rock. dreads i think are more of statement of the music not the nation itself, just like not every jaican is a rasta, not all rastas are jamaican. just like aswad a great reggae band is an english band.

  • @Craqerzrus so you proving me wrong about Collie has something to do with my other (very valid) point, how again? and get your shit straight, if i wanted to "talk shit" to other people, i'd be talkin, not "tryin". yes, i've also read collie's wiki page (you're not the only one with internet access), but he's about as close to a "white jamaican" as i can think of. disagree? offer a better example!

  • @breakbomb1 kinda sad how youre tryna talk sh to other people and then say Collie is from Jamaica when he was actually born in New Orleans...lmao and he never lived in Jamaica he grew up in Bermuda.

  • kinda sad to see a woman speak her mind regarding stereotyping, only to be told of her looks. shame on you bastards. no, i'm not gay & yes, she IS beautiful, but seriously... stay on topic.

all i gotta say is... Collie Buddz is a good example of a white Jamaican.

  • @minishotta92 Ignore him.

My accent changes as well depending on my mood and a whole leap of other things. I live in a total of 4 countries and your accent will change and pick up different sounds from the habitats you have lived in.

When someone has a different accent i think its great, it make a better multicultural siceity and what not.

You got a lovelt face and voice... Just get a better camera, learn some editing skills and have a god at making vids.

    As jamaicans say "One love"
