The making of the doll Sissi by Claudine Roelens. This doll is made in polymer clay. She's totally handmade. Her dress is made out of satin and organza. Embroidered by myself. Her hair is viscose, adorned with little iridescent flowers.

  • the gray thing after the wire, what is that?

  • @clariceriz07 it's aves apoxie sculpt

  • Wow. When I saw the photo of the head and face 1:29-1:40, I thought, "How could this ugly face ever be a good tribute?' but when you previewed it at 1:42, even though it was so little, I could see what an awesome job you were doing. By the time you showed her face in close-up from 3:30 on, I was thinking "I WANT ONE." Truly impressive job. Every detail is wonderfully done!!!! As Ms. Benaria said, you should release her as Barbie-style, complete with Sissy's Castle ;-D

  • @enilegnave21 Thank you for your very nice comments ! As you can see, dolls don't start out as beautifully as they begin, lol. it takes a while to sculpt a nice face.

By the way now I at least know what Ms. Benaria said! thanks !!
