The company is called Atlas Sports Genetics and is based out of Boulder, Colorado. Its President, Kevin Reilly, says its business is evaluating the athletic performance of high school and college athletes. Yet the company also offers another service directed at the parents of young children. It's a service, Reilly says, that will help them determine which kind of sport their child may be best suited for genetically. Damien Alameda takes you inside the science of this controvercial technology.

  • In most cases parents already influence and decide when the child is young, regardless of the child's preference, as to what sport to put them in, So why not find out what they'll be best at genetically? ALSO it is possible to be talented in BOTH elite and endurance sports. Another factor is training the body's fast or slow twitch fibers.
