This week's Media Bites takes a look at a Levi's commercial, which is part of their new "Go Forth" campaign. The spot uses crisp clean images of average Americans while viewers hear the words of a Walt Whitman poem called "America."

  • it's expensive to manufacture anything in america because of the cost of labor. levi's and the thousands of jobs it creates wouldn't exist if none of its merchandise were created "overseas in places like mexico." and, as a matter of clarification, some levi's product, such as "made and crafted" is manufactured in the US, though, as per my previous statement, it costs three or four times more than the average, retail priced levi's manufactured in other countries.

  • awesome work =)) good job keep it up!

  • Not everybody is fit, thin,or athletic somebody contact the chair person of Levis and let them know they need husky people

  • @wanderwere Thank You

  • what i find funny is that none of these people are average... all the main subjects of every scene are fit young adults... im sorry but isnt the majority of the U.S. overweight

  • 0:54, lol no wonder the klan doesnt wear levis.... : )

  • heh! That is actually interesting. Although I love their marketing campaign, it is ironic that most of their products aren't produced in the United States.

  • love this.
