Is that E powered or gas? Works very well. There is a simple stable method. It ads little weight.Gyro.

a helicopter lifts with a rotor blowing down a coanda effect lifter uses air blowing over a curved bowl from a fan on top the bowl produces the lift like an airplane wing that fan could not lift it if it was used as a heli setup without the bowl shaped fusalage!! thats the difference

nda_1911_patent.jpg much more like a turbine compressor than a coanda saucer. he did later designs that are closer to these modern ones. but not 1910

@DanFrederiksen it's the same principle ...but instead of pushing the flying mashine up it powers it forwards

@DanFrederiksen Henri Coanda first tested it back in 1910 at one of the first paris air shows .... you could google it
