Sorry for the dark images but well, it was getting dark. Got stranded 3 miles out, no skins, post holed in deep snow and slush for 15 minutes while my F-Arc 16m went flat. Found a spot with light puffs of wind and managed to get a flat F-Arc inflated and off the ice.

Anyone who has expirience flying Peter Lynn Arcs can appreciate the situation I think. =)

LOL. Yes! You and I think almost everyone else who's flown one. Longer rear pigtails help but she's still a twitchy critter. I used to have the same problem but I practiced launching and after a while it got easy and really aloowed me to enjoy flying the Scorp and now the old F-Arc.

@hercion A lot of the F-Arc handling I learned for the Scorp. But yeah, the Scorp is much sweeter to deal with.

I could never take off with a flat Scorp in a low wind like that, well done !.

It lookes like F16 is my new choice for super low wind kite, really good for 11 years old kite design.
