This DVD was made for the NFAA scholarship competition in Florida. Any constructive comments would be great. (And yes, I realize I messed up some of the words.)

One final thing, the sheet music places some syllables in odd places such as switching to the '-re' in 'core' on the second note of the word instead of the word. Naturally, this was changed when you did the piece. However, it wasn't changed in the second verse. 'Splende una face che l'almaccende' sounds very unnatural when performed the way the music directs it to. If you wanted to stick to the sheet music, that's fine, but you did modify some of the words, so I suggest modifying that verse.

@zamaramaaa Thank you for your critiques! However, this almost two years ago, and I haven't worked on this piece in a really long time, and don't plan to, unless I have to for some odd reason. My Italian has gotten a lot better, as I have had Italian diction as a class for this entire year, and I'm sure the coaches at my school would give more accurate advice in terms of syllable placement and emphasis. But again, I'm done with this piece, and it was a long time ago that this was recorded.

Your tone is gorgeous. However you have some small dipthongs you insert in some syllables. Also, good job using your body for gesturing -- that feels more awkward than like it looks nice most of the time. :) Overall, nice work and well sung.

I'm sure you've advanced considerably since making this video, but I feel it would help a lot if you could look a little more relaxed and into the mood of the song before you start. Your stand perfectly still stance doesn't prepare us to participate in your wonderful interepretation of the song. Beautiful voice and preparation. Keep singing!
