Translation: Final Command: Red Fortress

This is the Japanese version of Jackal for NES, one of my first games when I started playing video games when I was a kid, and was also the first game I mastered at a single digit age. I normally play better than this, but the difficulty's up a bit than what I'm familiar with on the FDS.

I would've put Jackal and Red Fortress all in one video and called it another vs., but I didn't have the memory right now. So instead I put a response to the Jackal speed run video so y'all can still compare it. Let's just say this is one occasion where the USA actually scores a point on Japan on territorial game comparisons.

Jackal is better than Akai Yousai. The NES version has wider level designs, more stages, a new final boss, and cut-scenes.
