@thepeacemaker786 Actually, we had good reason to invade Afghanistan. They were harbouring a known terrorist, we gave them an ultimatum, and then we moved in. 1:44 Unfortunately I don't think this is a valid argument, since the first verses don't specifically say that he ascended on the first day, and the later passages don't specifically say that he ascended after 8 days (that's just when he appeared to the desciples) and no mention of how "many days" is defined, and all of that could fall under the umbrella of 40 days. So they're all telling different stories, but there are no solid details to nail them on.
