I agree with you. I do not think he is arrogant at all, just really confident and he is kind enough to share his knowledge with others in a very respectful and humble way.

no, because in italian, the phrase is: se un ragazzo dice "mi ami?"...fa la domanda "mi ami?" almost completely different!

Easy enough if you make an effort to learn 2-3 languages if they have the same roots. Why do people who speak English who dabbled a bit in French or Spanish say that language is one of the hardest to learn? Hardest in respect to what?

They are considered the easiest by a long shot. Learning any language or becoming proficient in any skill isn't something that unfolds by itself.

Neither Mandarin nor Cantonese translation is 100% correct. I guess being fluent in those languages doesn't mean that you can translate well spontaneously. :)

I speak 3 languages, but I think he's really good, I would like to speak 3 or 4 languages more. Je peux parler et écrire très bien le Français aussi, y mi lengua materna es el español, muchas personas piensan que es uno de los idiomas mas dificiles de aprender..

El español pienso yo que es mas facil que el frances. De donde eres?
