The Dumbbell Push Press is an excellent intermediate to advanced exercise for developing upper body power. Speed is the primary focus when performing this exercise so do not use a weight that is too heavy. Also, remember to use your hips when pushing the weight upwards.
This exercise is especially beneficial for athletes, but is a great change up for anyone who is looking to implement more explosive exercises into their training.

The push press is a full body lift, but it's focus is on the upper body. You build mean upper back, shoulder, tricep, and midsection strength and stability.

that looks more like a leg workout, since you're springing up with the legs and the dumbells are being lifted by your legs
