@woopigsooie2015 Same here, but hey gota think about where they started from. They started from div 1-AA. Not too many teams who start from there always go to a BCS conference. Its sparse. I do wish they were in a better conference though

Your the first hog fan to be honest and smart on this topic. i applaud you on your logic and honesty. but imagine whats on the line when LSU and the other louisiana teams, Florida and the other florida teams, when texas schools play each other and the rest of the 31 states with more than one instate team plays each other. Every state does it. They don't want to lose bragging rights or recruiting. thats why some of the games are intense and fun.

@woopigsooie2015 Exactly. Im not advocating an UA/ASU game because i think ASU is gonna win. It just would be a great experience. Malzaun may be good, but its still astate. Petrino will always have a good team wherever he coaches. I mean who knows, Astate my be like boise state now, but u think they can beat a decent SEC team? UA has to realize if they do constantly play and beat Astate, they further seal the dominance of the state of Arkansas by means of head to head.

@thepac12andbig10suck I think that they are really just scared of A state stepping up in the instate recruiting in the case that A state wins. But you know what, you're right, we don't have too much to fear since Petrino has become a national recruiting power and we will still get all the good instate recruits. We would kick A state's ass anyways. However if Nutt was still here, I'd say fuck no to playing A state because we probably would lose.

@woopigsooie2015 what does arkansas have to gain playing mizzouri state, troy, new mexico, and other FCS and sun belt schools? nothing. i will say they have some to lose if they were to lose to astate, but not a lot. If fans is one issue, then it shows how pathetic the hog fanbase is if they switch to liking astate if they won. True fans never change. Plus it just sounds like the hogs are insecure about playing them. You see lsu play tulane/ULM etc and Florida playing FIU, FAU
