Don't hold your breath. The most he will EVER achieve with this is a low friction bearing.
On another note, magnet sales are up.
-
The magnet shops probably earn more from sales than you will if you make this thing work.

12 gates - 5,7 or 11 rotors needed!
-
can you tell me. why did you designe it with 12 geates and 2 rotors?
-
DAMN..I wish someone out there can crack this problem and give free energy to the people of the world !
-
Because they also pull against each other. No matter what, you're always going to have an opposing force to contend with. That's why is slows down and eventually starts "bouncing" between gates; the momentum he added with his finger push was finally overcome by the strength of the magnets pulling in the opposite direction.
-
I know this comment is a little late, but perhaps another 2 magnets perpendicular to the original 2 traveling magnets could give it that extra push you need. maybe even as many moving magnets as stationary ones would provide enough force to keep spinning and produce torque. Also, anyone that thinks this won't work should think for yourself instead of regurgitating something someone else wrote. How can this not work? Everyone knows magnets push against each other, just get the mechanics right.

Nice, put some more magnets, maybe it will make it less sticky.
-
Maybe someone thought of this already but why dont you put the Gates closer together at the distance of the flat spot so the next magnet will take the attraction of the magnet in motion.
-
"Using" electromagnet to generate electrical power is not impossible, if you know how to "manipulate" the position of the magnetic field by a mechanical system.
-
Even the most efficient bearing (least drag) would not help if you don't have some kind of mechanical system to move the electromagnetic field out of the way, so that only one of the force (attraction or repulsion) is utilized at a time.
think like this you are trying to make a vortex inside of a vortex. Tak on of those circle vortexs out shorten up the stick and tell me what happens bc i dont have the time to do this.

YES...your are right. The magnetic shunt technology. Of course! The only problem is to implement such a system in a very simple way, etherwise the mechanical complexity will "destroy" this proof of concept prototype, like energy lost on drag.
