@StockportWesleyanC yes you are correct. only the remaining 144,000 are allowed to partake. The others essentially pass it on therefore rejecting Christ who said to do it in remembrance of Him until He returns. Which makes it odd for the JWs to perform communion at all since they believe Christ already made His return (invisibly) in 1914.

@sunshineuklondon1965 Is it true that during the Breaking of Bread (Communion) that JWs are instructed to let the emblems pass by and don't actually partake of them?

I remember those horrible magazines. Sadly they were normal to me, I grew up thinking that the 'New System' would be here tomorrow. I can't explain the damage having that sort of belief, with those horrible images of dying people does to a kid. It's a cult of fear and deception.

@QilinRider21 Charles Russell was most likely a disaffected Adventist who decided to make his own church. He may have had funding from the Freemasons because the Freemasons deny that he's a JW. Russel wasn't a Mason himself. If he was, wouldn't the JW religion be a bit larger than it is right now?

@00sheilagreasley100 as a former jw i have to ask history speaks for its self so does the bible, why would you follow a oraganzation founded on false prophcies

listening to this delusional man makes me sick..........charles taze russel grew up a presbyterian but deviated from his roots because he could not handle the real, harsh truth of the bible so he resorted to freemasonry and eventually to perverting the bible to decieve other people into his sickening form of thinking............he and the watchtower are one of the many false prophets who jesus warned us about in the bible
-
the jehovah's witnesses are bible defined false prophets............DO NOT TRUST THEM
The JW organization would like you to believe that Christendom is about Santa Claus and Easter bunnies but they are again sadly wrong. Christmas is celebrated by Christians to rejoice in the birth of Christ just as God commanded his angels to do (Luke 2:13-14). And it's interesting that Christians are never commanded to celebrate it but the Watchtower forbids their followers to do so. Doesn't that make the organization a Pharisee style religion that makes rules that are not from God?
