I recently took the swing down because the kids are all over 100 lbs now. The pole is quarter inch aluminum and is supposed to flex. 11 years the swing was played on almosy daily and never a safety incicent other than one of the kids slamming inti my old butt when I wasn't fast enuff to get out of the way.
