This is the outside of these what can only be called flimsy doors. Note the gap. Also note the glue around the window trim. This was taken during a light blowing rain and of course rainwater was blowing in.
My opinion is poor quality or poor quality control. I would complain but I'm sure they would simply claim the glue is somehow my fault and that the doors are perfectly fine like they did with the door bowing.
BEWARE! Shop around before deciding on this brand!!!

  • Looks like you painted the window. Did Home Depot advise you not to pain the windows. Paint holds heat and can warp the frame and loosen the seals holding your glass and the argon gas inside. Did you install them or did you do it yourself?

  • @porkchopz28 Weyanleo please reply I would like to know how you installed the door and what needs to be done to fix this issue. There should be a upper and lower locking mechanisms, are they not there or function properly?

  • How about you show the door when it has the upper and lower mull post locked in. And further more given that painting the door and frame are the easy parts of the install, and quite clearly you have failed at doing so in any sort of professional manner. I'm going to guess that your install job is similar to if a mentally handicapped man, with no arms that installed the unit. at best.

"I would complain but " BECAUSE YOU KNOW IT'S YOUR FAULT YOU DON'T.

no offence to the mentally handicap SORRY

  • the employees at most jeld wen plants are skilled. but they are under paid and the quality is extremly bad they have to spend time fixing the doors before the can build the unit.management doesen't give them time to perfect the units before they are shipped that is why jeld wen is 98.9% on time with delivery.

  • @coalbuilt You sound like you either work there or used to work there. I used to work for them and your statement is correct.

  • most doors have squeeze out on the glass, you might look into how the door was installed as well.

  • complete disregard for quality happens when poorly trained employees are overworked on cheaply manufactured high-quantity orders focused mainly on shipping time
