i remember seeing an identical film of a 747 sinking, but it was highjacked, by a currupt co-pilot and flightatendent, something like that

Okay, there are soooo many problems with this movie.
1) The crash would've destroyed the plane.
2) If it DID stay intact, it would NOT have sunk, unless someone opened the doors.
3) If it DID sink, the pressure of the water would've crushed it
4) If it DID sink and stay intact, they would've run out of air before rescue would arrive.
5) If it DID sink and stay intact and there was enough air, it is very likely the plane would be ripped apart by trying to raise it.

I remember seeing this either on TV or at the movies when I was a kd....not too long after that my dad took me to Universal Studios for their tour and they showed us the FX of this movie.......it was really cool especially how they took the time to show us kids how it's done.
