  • @ammarios It's Los Angeles Metro.

  • Hmmm...I'm sorry, I don't get it..what does this have to do with Le Metro de Montreal?

  • @awsomej177

There is only going to be even more trains at Pico once the new expo line opens.

  • Metro has so many of these and I was getting on the pico platform and crossing the tracks and then after a long beach train came a Los Angeles train came and i was running up the ramp and a sec later the train train just passed behind a guy who nearly got killed.metro should get rid of some trains.

  • Going by the original plan, the first gold line segment from Union to Pasadena was suppose to be part of the blue line(Which it will be once the regional connector is built). The gold eastside corridor was suppose be an extension of the red line to the green line Norwalk, the green line was suppose be extended in to South Bay and Blue line in Long Beach, and the Orange Line was originally suppose to be a subway. The Bullshit they call BRT wasn't worth giving up for an extension of the red line.

  • looking back 20 years its interesting to see how things have changed in LA since the blue line opened in the summer of 1990. i

  • Yes, but the project got shut down by NIMBYs for a couple of years. A bunch of rail activists figured out that they could create another corporation to finish it, but tunneling in downtown was too much so they just ended at Union Station.

A new project called the "Downtown connector" is in the works which will connect the Gold, Blue and Expo lines and add a few more stations downtown.

  • Wasnt the Gold Line orginally suppposed to have been an extension of the Blue Line ?

  • 1990-2010 20 years of moving LA

  • I have a metro Blue Line Pin.
