A severe squall line developed along a dry line this afternoon and moved through the area at about 30-40 MPH. A couple of areas of what appeared to be Quasi-Linear Convective System (QLCS)-related rotation developed along the line as it made its way across the county. I caught up with the first area as it passed over Towanda and followed it northeast to just north of El Dorado. I could see the second area of rotation from a distance as it moved northeast from south of Augusta toward Leon, but I was not able to get close to it before the rain, wind and hail came through.
