  • remarkable, im also in shock that a video exists, the number of people to have previously seen this must be little more than a handful. for the benefit of anyone not aware, Mark King and Phil Gould of Level 42 are the bassist and drummer on this, and Ross Middleton and Gary Barnacle were members of Scottish band Positive Noise prior to embarking on this project.

  • ... I still own three 12"ers from them! Has there ever been a complete album?!

  • This is and was so original for the integration of rhythms and vocal style. The 12" is treasured, and gets the spin on occasions...

    Massive Memories...

  • Who's this @timpeacock7 creep who keeps popping up to make snide comments? If you like Leisure Process, fine. If not, why bother? And 5 euros, jeez you must be hard up. I don't believe you even met Ross. There's a lot of malicious disinf about Leisure Process out there, God know why. For me, I think they were an incredibly under-rated band and it makes me feel so good when I read positive comments, and people like roberto(?) taking the trouble to post rare stuff of theirs like Peel. Thanks!

  • Great track! still got the vinyl - shame this track never got the success it deserved.

  • Uk Video Night at the Ritz in New York fall 1982. Amazing video.

  • Oh,yes Doug is the consummate pimpernel, taking off to unexpected places in a well -oiled saloon of the mind. I used to be quite put out by such sudden exits. I recall the happy times, however, and still look forward to a day when he might make contact and repay him the five euros and a number of lunches I stood in Paris,2006.

  • Mister Middleton became Mr Doug Milton, resident in France. He was according to him on many tired and emotional moments,"Ma bezzt friend, aye!" Would still like to speak to him, despite being haughtily cast off.

  • Not the last Leisure Process video, there is one for Anxiety 4th single but it's just Ross in ruined night-club in pre-Gorby Berlin. Saw it at Café Olivierplatz (I think). I met friend of his who said he suffered from schizophrenia and passed most of 90s in the bin. Great shame, I thought he wrote very original strange songs. Thank god for youtube where whe can see all this stuff! Anyone remember The Associates?

  • I consider mysself an 80's anorak but I've never heard this before...

  • @julesandsands hey Julie, love what LP did,if the offer is still open I'd love a copy of what you have on cd...:)
