My Baker family tree from my Grandfather Frank Wallington Baker to my Great Great Great Grandfather John Baker.

Since I made this movie back in 2004, I have managed to gather a lot more photographs of the people shown. One day I will make an updated version.

  • This is so great!!! You will have to put a instruction video on youtube for us. Hint hint....

    Thanks

  • I got a collection of photos of the same person (say 6 photos we'll call A, B, C, D, E and F). Cropped them to make them the same size. I took photos A and B, and used Fanatmorph to make a movie of A to B (Sequence 1). Then I took photos B and C and made another movie (Sequence 2). I stuck Sequence 1 to Sequence 2. And then repeated. Until I had sequence from young to old. I used another piece of video software to reverse it. So the sequences for one person, combined give Movie 1.

  • Once I had a collection of movie sequence of my individual family members (Movie 1, 2, 3... etc), I used another piece of video software that allowed you to over lay one movie over another.

So I created the outline of the family tree, and overlaid a small version of Movie 1. I converted that into another movie, then overlaid a small version of Movie 2. Converted that into another movie, then overlaid a small version of Movie 3.

    Took weeks.

  • Would love to know how to do?

  • @kimgarvey18 - very sorry for the very late reply. I have described how I made the movie in the reply above.

  • Fantastic morphing. Wonderful job. Can you give any hints as to the software you utilized. -bobkramp

  • @bobkramp - I used a piece of software which I downloaded called Fanatmorph. But that was back in 2004. I am sure there will be a better version around nowadays.
