True, but modern people haven't. 85 % of modern society has no knowledge of primitive skills whatsoever, because they depend on the convenience of electricity. It's like taking a 5th grader and tossing him into an auto shop, expecting him to know what to do because people have been building and fixing vehicles for decades. The knowledge just isn't there. People survived thousands of years without electricity because they had no other choice (cont.)

@ZombieSlayer1210 process , birth, education, service, moderate wealth gain, bankruptcy, senility, death. why work for the gov't? earn less than18k per person and you get your money back. ssi you get back later. Landlord? Don't pay them. Get 20 people, buy land. Divide well drilling by 20. no water bill. Food? Store? Grow it makes stuff and trade with others. Money? Sell stuff or work gigs or part time. Run a bed and breakfast.

In FO3, you only need a bed to survive.
