Linde plays everything in E standard, he uses diffrent fretting patterns and octaver pedals to achieve the correct sound.

@wickedgit that is correct, this tunning is a standar tunning for a 7 string guitar. but if you (like me) have a normal guitar You can use B-E-A-D-G-B. Sorry for my english XD

venus doom is in drop b tuning =)
and the older stuff is in standar E and standard B

@wickedgit yo dude.. no him song is in drop b that has been released and sold lots.. maybe the early early stuff but nothing else

no really, him tune down thier guitar a half step actully,the song on venus doom are in standard E tuning exept venus doom witch is in drop B tuning and sleepwalking past hope is in drop D tuning,in live performance they tune down thier guitars down half step. On the new him album, they use Eb tuning on every single song,but you can also play the new songs in standard E.
