I dont care how many times Morrissey plays this by himself, without Marr's guitar is not as amazing as this. I was born too late to see The smiths play like this :( Can't they just get back together for the sake of good music? I mean, they are all still alive!

This, in my opinion, is how the studio version should have been recorded. Can you imagine Marr's guitar magic recorded in good quality, same sound(same guitar) and everything? That to me is the one thing I would die for :)

@c00t999 sure but an accurate representation of the 80s! Full of exhibitionists and posers. All good fun though and Morrissey won't have objected.

@TigerAmongstMen think how gutted I am that I was around and didn't go! My advice - go and see as much live music as you can now!!! I've seen a few of my heroes but not nearly enough.

@mikeyFTP You're so lucky you got to see them- I was born long after they split up and they continue to amaze me every time I listen to them!
@joidivision More like thumbs up for the guy holding him up, haha!

I've listened to this a million times, and will listen to it a million more; Johnny Marr's guitar riff for the final 40 seconds will never lose its magic.
