@gabec301 I would not say its "illegal". Look at the state laws for emergency vehicels, before ya open your mouth. Although, in Pennsylvania, Code 2, is however, not illegal i dont think, but really frowned on.

My dept. uses these! Every single unit except for the air/light unit has a quantum rig! Quantum tillers, hazmats,rescues, engines. it's a sea of quantums!! btw the airlight is an old ambulance

@AlexNAFD Here in NY, code 2 response is not allowed for fire trucks and ambulances, the siren must remain on when the trucks in motion, PD is exempt from this law. I guess it just depends on your states DOT laws.

@gabec301 dude, get your facts straight. Code 2 is NOT illegal. What do you think PD officers due when they respond to a robbery or something where they wont to show up without the criminals knowing they are there................ :|
