I knew behind all that sass was a guy just like me who is fabulous but has a heart of gold...I can't ever tell anyone cause being who I am is equal to murdering my own family...so I'll just live in the closet but good for you =)..my mum said she would commit suicide if I was anything other than straight...so yeah..it's hard but I know I'll survive =) thanks nik <3

Thanks for sharing this, Nik. It's one of the most interesting coming out stories, because you always appeared to me as one of the most confident gay YouTubers. So it was very interesting to know some details of your background. YouTubers like you are very valuable role models. I'm quite sure that by your videos you are helping young gay guys, who are insecure yet. So your videos are entertainig and they are important!

Oh, Nik, thanks for the update. Those of us who followed you last week were feeling anxious about the situation and we're glad it turned out OK. You are now asking your Dad to change his entire belief system and I'm sure that his love for you makes that conflict all the more difficult for him. Give him time. You can only control you, but don't give up on him.

oh, yes....tremendously shocking to hear about your family situation, but you can thank God, you can thank livfe for giving you friends.....you will always find someone who will accept, love you and will see just how enormously valuable you are even though (not despite) you're gay.....Not to mention of course the heaps, and heaps of support you will find on Internet...there's a world out there who think like yourself and will never judge for being gay, but the complete opposite. Love Yourself.

I hope your dad wises up one day- the sooner the better. Religion is no excuse for homophobia or even disapproval. It makes no more sense than to disapprove of a kid because he/she is left-handed.
