I have Mini 12 with XP and it's running fine. My friend has Mini 12 with Vista and it runs like a snail.

Why would you even try running vista with only 1gb of ram. Netbooks come with XP and ubuntu for a reason.

This Mini 12 doesn't sit well on your lap due to a design flaw where the base is the same weight as the screen....so the laptop will fallback if place on your lap.
