so im thinking a visual person would be better at reading facial expressions a audio with tones and pitchs in voices and kinaesthetic with body language? not sure with the digital one
This course is amazing. We perceive sensory information based on our preferences (and different state of mind). When we pay attention to the 4 representational systems (V, A, K, D), we can potentially respond with the speaker's preferred sensory words in order to achieve rapport and comfort. In addition, I finally understand what "matching" technique is all about. You really have opened up my vision (yes, I am very visual) on how to observe a speech pattern and to communicate effectively.
Stuart, what about words like, "understand, get it"? Are they consider "digital representation since they are to do with "making sense" of a thought/event? Or.. maybe "get it" is more kinesthetic after reaches out to "get it". Any thoughts?
