Sonic The Hedgehog - Better (or Worse) Bad Ending

This is what I think the bad ending of the game should've been instead of that slightly creepy picture of Robotnik juggling the Chaos Emeralds so you'd have a better reason for collecting all the emeralds.

Sonic ends up dying because he was too lazy to try and get all the Chaos Emeralds back off Robotnik. It doesn't matter what Robotnik still having the emeralds at the end means normally because you're never told exactly why that is such a bad thing. Well, with the main character dying, this video certainly shows how better (or worse) the bad ending could've been!

Also, I wanted to show the funny way the screen goes white when you kill Sonic during the ending with debug. Makes it look like Sonic has gone to heaven or something. Creepy.

My idea for a bad ending is that Sonic ENDS UP as a badnik himself.

they could show robotnick laughing in front of a giant doomsday machine and sonic being zapped in a capsule then come out a robot

Kind of reminds me of that bad ending in Sonic 2 for Game Gear where it's suggested Tails died (though, off camera.)
