@muneyman68 yeah pros compress the ball.. but do you have any idea how high woods hits it? he doesn't de loft that much.. he used to use a 6 degree loft driver and still hit it freakishly high.. if he delofted he would have hit it on the ground.. not to mention the fact that he switched to a graphite shaft.. a custom shaft that would be around $500 for the "average joe".. he works hard to keep the same club degree at impact.. when he doesn't he plays like shit and flies greens by 20-30 yards..

@dabom34 pros for the most part don't tinker with the lofts of their wedges, but once they start to get 6-iron and down, most of them have their clubs bent.

@muneyman68 if they deloft the club at impact, thats them doing the work, not the club. In your previous argument, you said that a 9 iron is really a 7 iron. Are you saying that players have their clubs bent like this? Or the loft is standard but at impact they deloft the face?

@dabom34 No ur completely and utterly wrong. Look at Dustin's bowed wrist at the top pal, and you named 4 players that can hit it that far. Some r the exception when they r lashing at the ball. what about the rest??? Look at pro's impact compared to average joe's impact. Pro has way less loft than average joe....why do you think tiger is hitting it farther than ever? SHAFT LEAN=DELOFTED FACE

@muneyman68 well some players do play strong irons, but not that strong...thats roughly 8* strong. Which no one does. Tiger woods, in his prime, was easily able to hit a 9 iron that far, he bombed the ball. Lots of tour players can do that today, bubba, dustin maybe, alvaro, thats one of the reasons that the pros are so damn good. Sorry pal, you are completely and utterly wrong on this one.

@dabom34 ehh! i don't need to....75% of all pros play strong irons. Tour players don't hit the ball that far with their irons on just speed and solid contact....it's delofting of club also. u don't know anything...How many tour players can really hit a true 9-iron 167 yards?! give me a break!

@muneyman68 yeah man thats not true at all. tigers clubs are bent one weak for example. mcilroy is one strong
