Observing Palaeolithic rupestre painting in Europe and Australia, South Africa and India, we can see some incredible similarities: it's possible to notice a sort of global Palaeolithic pictography
A cultural response to the dialectics between Global and No Global and the search for a Paleo Global language, proof of the common ancient expressive roots of humankind. The enigmatic signs of 20th-century avant-garde seem to indicate a new language, primal and global, the language of a new civilization, no longer limited to the west.
On the one hand the artists discovered and fell in love with the language of extra-European art, in particular primitive art, while on the other they gave birth to a proliferation of signs associated with the unconscious, as if each artist was creating a pictographic alphabet to describe a previous existence. Messenger Emoticons introduce pictograms in the global digital commmunication.
